Hey there folks. I don't think I have ever posted on the forums, so apologies if this isn't the place to put this. If it should go somewhere else, let me know and I can repost it there.

I like glamour. I like seeing what gear people have and trying it on, but I also sometimes see a piece from a set that someone has equipped that I want to try on but there is an item glammed on top. Could be from a dungeon set that I had forgotten about or maybe the newest gear looks cool from the thumbnail but the person has a glamour plate over it.

At the moment if someone has gear A equipped with gear B glammed on top, the Try On feature always tries on gear B. The only way to try on gear A that I have found is to link gear A into the chat box and then try it on from there. This issue is quite annoying when it does come up. I did try to ask in shout chat in Tuliyollal if anyone knew a work around and they thought gear A would show in chat if you click Try On, but it is just "You tried on gear B" and has gear B linked. Another suggested if examining a character to press "Glamours" at the bottom to see the glammed gear. This would be nice if the Try On feature didn't always try on Gear B no matter what is on the examine window.

I propose that we split the Try On command in the right click menu into "Try on equipped item" and "Try on glamour item" so we can choose which one shows up in the try on window. This would also be a great change to make to the Link command. Split it into "Link equipped item" and "Link glamour item" so that we can choose what is linked. This should also be possible for unequipped gear in the inventory, armoury chest, etc. Maybe call it "Try on item" and "Try on glamour item" instead of specifying equipped. Or maybe "base item" or "original item" as long as it is clear to players how the two options work.

If there is an actual way to do this currently, I would love to know.
