Summoner Rework Post (yeah another one this week, how crazy!)

I have some ideas for summoner that i like to share, the goal is to break from the current static rotation and allow us to freedom of choice when it comes to what to summon, and at the same time allow us easy access to burst when needed, these ideas where based on a number of good suggestions i read here in the forums.

I will start of with the basic summons, then i will get into the demi summons.

1. Basic Summons:

We will have access to the six elemental Eikons from ARR (Ifrit, Garuda, Titan, Leviathan , Ramuh and Shiva), Each can be summoned at anytime, and similar to what we have now, they will do their super, leave, then grant us access to elemental attacks

these Summons can be broken down to 3 Categories:

A. Fast Summons: Garuda & Ramuh

. Cast time 1.5s , Duration 30s, Cooldown 40s
. Each will grant 5 (or 6) Quick elemental (instacast) ranged attacks
. Each Summon will apply their version of DoT after their super, either by leaving a DoT area or applying it directly to enemies.
. they will both grant a movement ability in the form of targetless dash (like PCT & DNC)

B. Heavy Summons: Titan & Leviathan

. Cast time 1.5s , Duration 30s, Cooldown 40s
. Each will grant 4 elemental (instacast) ranged attacks
. Each will grant us the ability to do follow up attacks, either after each attack or a (collect stacks then execute at once).


C. Melee Summons: Ifrit & Shiva

. Cast time 1.5s , Duration 30s, Cooldown 40s
. Each will grant 2 elemental (instacast) Melee attacks
. each will grant us the ability to dash on target, with a follow up attack (Basically crimson cyclone & Crimson strike, but each will have their own version)

now for the Demi summons..

2. Demi Summons:

Regardless of where you are at the (Basic Summons) rotation, You will have access to demi summons with a new ability that will act like MNK's Perfect Balance, lets call it "Eikonic Trance", the goal is to allow us easy access to burst when needed.

A. Eikonic Trance

. Cast time (instant), Duration 20s, Cooldown 60s
. Allows the execution of 3 insta (Eikon attacks) out of 6 Available options, these attacks are categorized to either (Solar) or (Lunar).
. if the majority of attacks are Solar, you're grant access to Pheonix, and if Lunar, you get Bahamut.

. The available options are:

.Solar Eikon Attacks

Ifrit: Crimson dash
Titan: Mountain Buster
Garuda: Downburst

.Lunar Eikon Attacks

Leviathan: Dread Tide
Ramuh: Shock Strike
Shiva: Ice Brand

Note: for these "Eikon Attacks" we will summon the eikons to do these quick attacks, but this idea can also work by us performing these attacks ourselves, if you like this (Demi Summon) idea, tell me which you prefer.

now when it comes to "Solar Bahamut", i've read an idea on a recent post that i really liked, where Bahamut is transformed to Solar.B when under the effect of Searing Light, i would like to build more on it in the following section:

3. Searing Light:

while under the Effect of Searing Light, "Eikonic Trance" ability will grant access to other Demi summons depending on the Solar & Lunar Attacks performed:
. 3 Solar Stacks: Alexander
. 2 Solar + 1 Lunar: Solar Bahamut
. 3 Lunar stacks: Odin
. 2 Lunar+1 Solar: Lunar Pheonix

Yes indeed, i dont like the static rotation, and at this point it is absurd that we only have the OG 3 in our rotation.
