If they can manage to keep the pace moving via quests and other story related content it probably wont be that bad. Thinking back to older ff games getting to x place in the story generally takes a set amount of time and you generally arrive there at about x level. Assuming of course that you did not do extra grinding or rushed.

How ever I am of the opinion that the 30 hour's for level 15 is a wee bit overboard or hopefully just a bit hyperbolic.

While I believe that this discussion is worth having, and quite a few interesting points have been brought up, this is a topic we won't be able to really settle until much further down the road. "30 Hours" is just a number. Without context, it means nothing more than "12 parsecs". 30 Hours of meaningful content that allow us to explore the world, physically and metaphorically, would be most welcome. 30 Hours of FFXIII'esk tutorials on the other hand....

I have high hopes that it will be the former, and low expectations that it may be the latter. Either way, we will know more soon enough.

just saying its not slow now, and you can get to 50 in most jobs withing 30 hours, 1-15 is like less then 10% of the total exp needed, and if that changes to take 30 hours, fawk that
