Desynth. / Guarantee NQ item results

First I whish you a happy new year.

My question: When you desynth, do you notice any difference to select "Guarantee NQ item results." or not?

Reason for my question: I tested both, for example on stack of fishes (split within two stacks of same amount), and I couldn't notice anything different.

When you desynth specific things, such as weapons, gear, etc. They may yield HQ items where applicable. Because you're desynthing fish, which only yields Fine Sand which cannot be HQ, you will never get anything besides NQ Fine Sand from it.


Next time you do roulettes, try to desynth a piece of gear you got in the dungeon. If you're lucky, you can get HQ crafting materials from it! They are an easy way to make a little gil on the marketboard.
