I know we can have every class maxed on just one character, but I prefer specialized characters. My current character is a Dragoon, and it's all I want to be. Maybe someday when I have all the best gear for it available I'll move on to another class but, until then, I prefer to just spend my time maximizing my preferred role on this character.

I imagine if I wanted a mage character, I'd do that with a second.
