NEED SOME PVP HELP

Looking to hold a pvp tourney for my fc and friends and want to make it fair... But ive been told by a friend some classes have an advantage over others due to healing and mitigations ndd i get that. Any idea which classes should be banned? Any help would be appreciated! was gonna ask a friend whos into pvp heavy but they arent around. So figured id ask the entire pvp community

Generally speaking, we've banned Paladin/Gunbreaker/White Mage/Astrologian/Scholar/Pictomancer for making matches take too long and being practically unwinnable outside of mirror matches -- which could never end.
Red Mage, Black Mage, and Monk are generally the top tier duelists and to make it fair, there's often restrictions on either their role action or LB usage against "lower tiered" dueling jobs.

Biggest thing, if you do a best 2 out of 3 format PLEASE for the sake of your FC mates do not run one match at a time. It's fun to watch at first but it can drag on for a while.
All that said, it's up to you. Tbh the best part of dueling tournaments is just hanging out with the boys so have fun with it boss!

Honestly i never been in any pvp tournaments, but some jobs to ban like others listed another is WAR. It cna jstu out heal lots of damage it takes once it uses its LB, and has a lot of cc immunity. I htink they made it so DNC can charm it? someone might ahve to fact check what cc works and deosn't against war in pvp

pvp duels are unbalanced and bad.

GNB wins every single duel > ban that class, BLM is 2nd best, then MCH and RDM. Healers are also terrible to play against and they will eventually kill you. Bard is very good against Monk and classes with a lot of dashes.

Honestly GNB doesn't win every duel. Esp if you ahve abilities to cc it to death liek BRD or a RDM to make it deal reduced damage to a RDm
