Question for the Moderator

Why did you lock my thread on Cute DoL familiars? Most people considered it a worthy necro bump so it definitely had more life in it, and its something that most wanted to see implemented in the game no questions asked. I didn't necro bump it because I thought it would be funny or trollish, I thought the idea still had validity and relevancy. I'm sorry, but do you want me to make a new Cute DoL familiar thread or are we going to defeat the purpose of the search function on the forums?

P.S.

When the forums update please include a more valid way of contacting moderators, I don't want to have to make a post in front of everyone on the forums. I can't seem to find any way to private message you about this issue.

I agree with this, because definitely all those other necrobumped threads needed to be mowed down.

Or just ban the people being childish and spam necrobumping. The threads would have died back down on their own.

I got banned earlier today. Not gonna lie, I was being kinda childish, but my intent wasn't malicious. It was a thread that actually went somewhere at some point in time and I wanted to see where it would go again.

There's kind of a trend in the threads being necroed where they are completely irrelevant or resolved issues and the necrophiliacs simply comment on the thread like it never died. I did neither of these so I was kinda irked to be banned. But I guess "bumping" is against the forum rules. Thats kinda stupid though because thats the system the forums are based on where the subject gets bumped to the top. Ugh i'm digressing now.

All threads are held by the same rules -- given the fact it was bumped for the sake of the necro trend going on, they closed it in that regard.

It's not the search function because if you look at most other language forums you can see they keep certain threads alive that's been around for at least a year, whereas on NA side..it's like an explosion of duplicate topics on the same subject over and over -- they tell you to search and bump topics with relevant info -- essentially the opposite of what happened.
