    ddos? 13 times in one day?

    why cant i play the game that i'm paying for. why am i constantly being kicked out of the game while i'm trying to play. when patch dropped i was always being booted out of the game because of a "ddos". when will this be fixed? will we be compensated? this is exhausting i'm going to have to cancel my sub because I cant even play the game i'm being charged for.

    I can certainly understand your frustration with these disconnects. But I also think you're being unfair. Granted, the disconnects are inconvenient, but the downtime, in my opinion, isn't enough to warrant compensation.

    I agree with you Enno. I, too, want to play a game that I pay for - not sit here and watch a queue tick down. This could all be stopped if Squeenix implemented something like a Captcha. It seems like they "fix" it, only to have it happen again a few days later. It's getting super aggravating.

    Lmao yeah we're absolutely at the point of people wanting compensation and it's warranted. Square is clearly doing absolutely nothing to try and mitigate. Stop being a blind champion for lazy companies.

    I don't think you can stop at compensation at this point. You'd have to turn off the subscription fee until you can fix it at some point in this process.

    It is warranted. It has been going on since October. SE is stuck in a contract with NTT here in America which has VERY VERY poor security when it comes to DDOS protection. ITs why NA is the only system effected by currently whats going on.

    I have 2 hours to play tonight and have sat in a que for half of it after being disconnected twice.

    I sat in a call and watched my friends make no progress in the new savage raid because every single pull one person or another would disconnect. For hours. We went in and cleared the fight as a static later, but we all had to install VPNs and still suffered from lag (but thankfully no disconnects due to the VPNs) during ddos attacks.

    I was doing roulettes while in that earlier call, and every single instance I was in took way longer than usual and had multiple wipes caused by disconnected players, which we then had to wait to reconnect.

    I think wanting compensation is pretty warranted when people are having hours of their time wasted either in queue or waiting for party members to reconnect. Me and my raid group already have more time than the average andy since we're all on vacation/PTO, I can't imagine how frustrating this all is for people with jobs to go back to in the morning.
