Is it possible to make a macro targeting the character selected?

I have problems with depth perception, so sometimes in a crowd of enemy combatants, it's hard for me to see which one is marked when they're all in a pile. If I'm the one doing the marking, is there a way to make a macro so that the character I've selected is marked with a <1>?

<1> represents your character and is the same as <me> or <0>. <attack1> refers to the target marked with the Attack 1 sign. You can target it using the macro below.
/target <attack1>

There are also macros for targeting the lowest-numbered Attack sign. This action can be assigned directly to a hotbar from the General Actions list, so creating a macro is unnecessary. This can be combined with other targeting macros as needed.
/target <attack>
or
/generalaction "Attack Target"

EDIT: The marking action can also be assigned directly to a hotbar via Main Menu > Party > Signs > Target to Attack 1, so there is no need to create a macro.
