I was just in an alliance raid where the ninja had to go move something from their oven and AFK'd mid fight. I had to rescue them out of an AOE. Not a big deal but it happens often enough that I find it useful for mundane tasks.I'm "allergic" to players with obvious ill intent, which is what every Rescue supporter comes off as because I doubt they mean well when they so adamantly defend a known griefing tool that rarely actually saves people (if it ever actually has, and they're not just lying about their successes).
I would not be shocked if they are indeed the same kind of people who purposefully run dangerous/lethal mechanics into others or generally troll during fights to cause wipes because they certainly come off as the type. Anything for the "lulz" and whatnot.
Below we have a transcription of what Naoki Yoshi-P Yoshida said at PAX:
- "For some players, like me, I kind of get sleepy because it's so repetitive."
