    Frequent Disconnects from Greece

    Good evening,
I'm writing on behalf of my good friend,

The constant disconnects from Greece are persisting since friend started playing.

We have tried different router, tried to use VPN, and also tried by changing internet provider, and yet still the disconnects keep happening. We have done one frontlines successfully but shortly after multiple disconnects in roughly 15 minute periods.

Friend is somewhere at the end of Stormblood, and the disconnects are very frustrating to even bother to continue. It's shame to not even know the shadowbringers story at all.

Please bring the topic of connection stability up next Live Letter!
    thanks

What about changing data center? Does it work better when they data center travel to Materia?

Unfortunately though, if they tried a different router, provider and a VPN, then the only likely explanation is that there is a local issue (such the local exchange or wires not being very good):
    • A local exchange or wire issue would mean that the issue would occur before reaching the VPN's first node.
    • A local exchange or wire issue would mean that the issue could potentially occur regardless of ISP.
    • A local exchange or wire issue would mean that the issue would occur regardless of router or if it's wireless.
To find this out for sure, open CMD and do a tracert to the data center.

This connection stability obviously doesn't affect everyone else, so they aren't going to bring it up since it's just an issue for your friend, or in the worst case, only an issue for people in Greece.

They could try remote gaming and seeing if that works as well. Shadow lets you stream games to your PC, and if the connection to them doesn't disconnect it might be a workaround.
