I swear when they made OC they grabbed the list of things they learned not to do in Eureka/Bozja instead of the list of things they learned they should do and said to each other, "ok let's do this". Which is basically DT as a whole.
This whole expansion has just been a wildly huge swing and a miss on so many levels that it's almost embarassing to admit to being a current player. I couldn't imagine how it feels being one of the devs behind the actual decision making.
DAMN. Those are Seitengrat bow odds and among the worst drop rates in probably any game ever.
I recall the earrings/necklace/bracelet are from CEs and they're still selling for 50M. That should say enough.




I’d be fine with the drop rates if the accessories were actually worth a damn because it would encourage me to to save up to buy them if I couldn’t get them as a drop but paying 50 million for a 1/10000 drop for 0.9% more damage really isn’t selling it for me
Like they are rarer than Cassie while also being less interesting and having no nostalgia attached from 11 and even Cassie has long been more of a meme than an actual advantage in eureka that’s usually just worn by BA vets for status

As a healer main in this game for nigh on 14 years all I can say is that I’m tired. My role has been eroded of complexity and expression for 3 expansions. I’ve watched the tanks do my role for me for 2 expansions and my feedback and critiques continue to fall on deaf ears.
I have no idea who modern healers are designed for but I know now it’s not me. This is the first expansion I’m truly considering dropping the healer role and not returning, so if that was the goal- congratulations I guess




Drop rates on these accessories are abysmally low. I don't necessarily want the playerbase to be swimming in accessories, but they should actually be attainable. Please increase the drop chances.


Yeah I'm not very fond of how the accessories work. I remember them saying they wanted to add things to make FTB easier to run for average player, and accessories was part of that. Well, with how rare it is to get one, I guess I'll have the complete set in 6 months. Maybe. The worst is, when you FINALLy drop one, it probably won't be for the class you actually play. They could have done a single piece bot (one earring box, one ring one, ... etc) where you opened it and gave you the right piece for your current job, but no, total rng it is. This addition was so useless...
Wy can't they just make them purchasable with Sanguinite in addition to rare drops i wonder
Apparently, the drop rate is higher than we think because the game rolls several times when you open a chest so in theory the 1 in 10000 rate is if you want a specific one. Silvers have a higher chance and I assume CEs have an even higher chance.
However, I agree. The drop rate is abysmally low and there is no pity system of any kind to slowly grind our way to them either besides farming gil.
