Not SEA player, but I kinda feel what OP means.

Only thing we - south americans - have that SEA players don't is ffxiv is fully integrated with Steam here. We can buy base game, expansions and even use steam wallet to pay the sub using local currency.

The rest? We also have 200ms ping, we don't have a local server (Behemoth was the unofficial brazilian server, but it's still on NA datacenter), merchandisings can't be bought without using dropshipping services, we have to travel to Europe or risk being deported by ICE if we go to the USA just to attend to some event, we can't take part of any contest that have physical prize, etc.

So, I'm rooting for you, OP. Maybe one day S-E will realize they're a multi-billionaire company and give attention to everyone, not just japanese, north americans and some europeans.
