On the contrary this post does. Since FF11 2003, the billing from SE does not list my country. What I'm telling you is that this does not affect any SEA players to being with as long they accepted our billing card information. So what is the problem with the OP (or you) on this?

You obviously didn't read my post. My bad I forgot FFXIV players can't read.

    1) Access to official merchandise
    2) More payment options
    3) Buying expansion on steam (I'm on steam I can't buy new expansion on steam after they changed how you need to login with steam if you bought your base game on steam) Basically cus you can't see the game/expansion listed on steam store just trial version.

Tell me about this, OP. As a fellow Malaysian, I totally agree w/ you, although personally I don't care about merchandises but more on how difficult it is to even try to pay SE w/o going through loopholes.

I am still using my old address back in Japan because I bought the Japanese version back when I was still living there. Lo and behold, it's worse than NA accounts because you cannot use non-JP credit cards and there is no PayPal available. The only workaround is using AmazonPay (the ultimate lifesaver), or buying bitcash that is a whole other trouble as you need to buy from a 3rd party (eg. Playasia) to top up to a 3rd party(bitcash) then to the Mog station. :eyeroll:

If SE accounts are region switchable like Nintendo account then, we wouldnt have much problem on this than just currency rates.

People who think this is not a problem, maybe you want to just shut up and stop downplaying it. It's not a huge problem to you, doesn't mean it isn't one to others.

First of all regarding steam platform, you should feedback this to them. Secondly you answered your own questions, you (we) can still purchase the official merchandise but at a higher price.

Lastly if a game does not want my money, I unsub or don't buy the game to being with. Example: Korean "Lost Ark". Oceanic is still a small pool of players. We can keep bitching about this. hmmm 22years later and nothing has changed. Good luck to you.

Exactly this. If they can do this for OCE, why not just include other regions too?

At this point they just need to update their whole system in general. Even this forum is shit. Boomer system is bad. Its time to change. We are all so tired from having to deal with so many issues within the SE system. New players are still dealing issues with buying the game. It has been years. Even streamers have been saying this for years yet there have been 0 feedbacks. 0 acknowledgement. Adresss the issue. You're a huge company. All the so called DDoS as well. Address it. Stop offering us cash shop items.Fix your goddamn system or even better make a new one.

When you say SEA (South East Asia/Pan Pacific)?

Actually if you play on EU it has a better PING for Malaysia... Sometimes, when I'm back home for holidays in Malaysia or Singapore... the EU has better PING for me personally. If you're in Kuala Lumpur/Selangor down towards Singapore coast it's still good. But not in Perak strangely. Along Penang and Langkawi seem good too. And that I can only provide you the West coast of Malaysia, since I'm not from the East Coast.

So sometimes in lieu to said problems... Since it's 'Malaysia' At times it can be due to how businesses are run due to the different rules, law and regulations within Malaysia itself... certain things aren't as straight forward presumedly although I maybe wrong (so pardon my ignorance); things may have change over the years. Having been working with an advertising studio years ago... the censorship board who governs most contents review things in very very 'sophisticated' ways. So I'm gonna just again 'assumed' that maybe it's not that simple to set certain kind of business gaming system up' in due to how FFXIV contents are pretty forward and modern thinking; which as you know Malaysia... there are 'sophisticated' issues that could possibly have to be address. Again 'presumedly'.

If using VPN to cope your best bet is still VPN to Singapore, if I'm not mistaken Singapore has their own high speed docks. And if you do VPN to EU... nothing beat the German, France, Netherlands, their ping is awesome. Die die, you can go London... But that is if the gambling season I slow... You see the UK systems are very much clog by their football or whatever 'betting days'. it's awful sometimes especially now Christmas season. BUT again that's my personal experiences.

I use to play with a lot of latency and I somehow personally manage to get into a certain rhythm in calculating my mechanics dodging. But that also due to my own way of adjusting, with no added plugins or whatsoever.
(Whether this helps or not) All the Best!
