    Some compensation would be nice

    I know it's not their fault getting these many DDOS attacks but please compensate us.
    A lot of activities in this game require continuous playing (eg prog) and it's such a terrible waste of time when you disconnect and get a 5-min queue to get back.
    Some free login days would be nice.

    Or losing mats for crafts. It's really annoying. Some extra play days and upgraded server equipment would be nice.

    It just wasted a whole prog (and probably another clear) of Doomtrain.

    Compensation won't make up for the time lost, and the money is really nothing to me. A single day's food probably costs me more.

    yknow what at this point I'd settle for .. oh I don't know .. SE saying ANYTHING AT ALL. Like actually say SOMETHING to their paying customers. Even if it actually is DDOS or something else entirely out of their control having to do with the service hubs, they could have just the tiniest sliver of consumer respect and communicate somehow. The fact that the server craps out 20 times a day is one thing sure, but the fact that they can't even be bothered to speak out, that they value us so little that we're not even worth a statement, that's the truly troubling part of all this.

    It is their fault they get DDosed so much and they aren't going to give you compensation because they're greedy.

    According to other threads, CS is just telling customers it's a customer issue and completely unrelated to SE. Which is impressive that 2000 of us all, at the same time, had the same tech issue. Incredible.

    Don't expect anything from them. Stop playing or raise hell online. If you are going to fanfest, demand to be heard. They will ignore the problem until they are forced to respond.

    Make them respond or keep paying your sub for substandard service.

    This is the 2nd time we've had multiple days of DDOS happening in close proximity. What a way to end of the year for this game.

    Yeah man conveniently in my M9 group the other day 5/8 of the party DC'd as soon as we pulled and the rest of us lagged so hard that we were dead when the game finally caught up but it's TOTALLY a user end issue! Nevermind the fact that my friend said the queue to get back in after the DC was at like 1200 as well. Unbelievable that they are even trying this excuse honestly. How dumb do they think we are?

    I'll hazard a guess that those responses are just automated templates. We've gotten very little transparency about DDoS mitigation so I wouldn't be surprised if it was standard policy to deny anything outside of Lodestone announcements.
