    Command Panel Feedback

Hey folks. Thought I would get a thread started for the new Command Panel feature. For the most part, I like it, and it's worked out as advertised. I was able to get rid of a lot of my macros. I am sure I will think of more feedback, but for now, I only have one item.

We should have the option to use a separate Command Panel for PvP, kind of like how hotbars change in PvP. Before patch, I used a key to open a hotbar to quickly communicate strategic information for shotcalling PvP. After the patch, while I could make room in my command panel for a separate page for PvP, I would really like an option to change my command panel for PvP. If you want to really impress us, let us choose which pages change for PvP. So maybe I can have page 1 swap, but the others retain their PvE functionality.

I would like the option to make it transparent completely apart from the buttons.

Thank you for this thread! It's a great new feature but it has room for improvement. I agree whole heartedly with the ability to make the frame/background completely transparent. It would help it feel less unnecessarily wide.

The first thing I can think of is being able to pin it so that it stays visible(and possibly in one spot) until you click the x to close it rather than it closing with various interactions and use of the escape key.

It'd also be fantastic to have the option to change the shape/layout of the slots like we can normal hotbars. So something like 10x2(vertically and/or horizontally) or even just one long string of 25 slots that can be tucked to the top/bottom/sides of the screen. Basically add some flexibility in how we arrange it with the rest of our UI.

Lastly, allowing for a more expansive list of icons that can be used for the 4 page buttons. Unless I'm missing something, the icon for each panel can only come from the icons of items in the panel but, you can't use icons of macros. A popup like macros have with a bunch of icons to choose from(in addition to the right clicking a button in the panel) would be great.

So for the moment, I'm just adding it to my macro hotbar menu.
    /micon "Attack Target" general
    /hotbar display 7 off
    /commandpanel
I do hope we get /on and /off subcommands as a result so I can use it in tandem with my other macros.

I would like to be able to adjust the layout of the buttons.
The new command panel is only five buttons across on each tab.
I was previously using UI bars before that, and have them set as 6x2 - six buttons across on two rows.
Being able to adjust the button width and rows would be really nice.

I would also like to be able to lock the panel in place so I don't accidentally drag it somewhere.

I would like to be able to adjust it in all the ways you can adjust every other piece of HUD ui in the game...in the HUD layout tool.
It should be themed according to our selected theme.
Transparency should be settable in the same way as the rest of the ui (in the HUD layout).
I'd like to be able to configure rows/columns. Up to a max of 5x5 is fine, but if I only have ten things to put in there, I don't want to show 25 slots.

It's baffling to me that they chose to do this one thing differently from everything else.
