Graha Voice Actor Change?

Go talk to G'raha after the 7.4 MSQ is finished in Solution Nine and see if you feel the same as way I do about the lines.

I see how that can be read but i think its honestly a usual reacc from Graha in light of what just occured. Defo relates to krile. it just feels like a inside comment rn ref the VA

I do believe they would hide this information for financial reasons as long as possible, and stated so earlier in the thread. But the lack of transparency and purposely ignoring requests for simple information can only cost them in resentment down the road.

I agree with that, at least if they did in fact replace him already or if it's him after all, against all odds.

If they're still negotiating, I do think waiting till they've come to a conclusion would in fact be best.

And they're not stupid, even if they don't always make the best decisions, and are certainly aware of the fan reactions too - which actually gives me hope that the matter isn't settled yet.
So since the "no worries, still him" didn't come in yet, I'm now actually pro silence, at least for a while - followed by hopefully good news in a few days or weeks.

In either case, though, they should at least have announced a different VA for this patch - at release at the latest, even if they didn't give a reason as to why for now.

I really hope non of the Scions ever get re-cast, they all gave them so much character. It is hard imagining y'shtola in another voice, same goes for the others.

Graha is my favorite Scion and Baily gave graha so much character and love so much that I immediately hear graha whenever he talks xD.

I hope this was temporary to update the contract or any other reason!!

As a businessman, one of the earliest lessons I learned in my career is not trying to hide bad news from clients, and communicating with them. It's far worse if something goes wrong and you just pretend nothing happened and the customer learns on their own anyway.

At least an announcement that they hear our question, and then at the very least some sort of reason why they can't provide more information, is better than simple silence.

Yes, hence why I think there might simply not be (certain) news yet - and that they still should at least have communicated the VA change for 7.4.

I think it's still Jonathan Bailey, but I'm showing support for fans who are less certain and would like some clarification from SE. There's likely more to NDAs and contracts than most of us would understand, but I'm having trouble imagining that SE can't pop into this thread and confirm it's him. The fact that they haven't said anything (just a simple "yes", we don't need to know the details) is actually starting to make me doubt it's him.

I’m fully aware I’m reading into it, but it’s just interesting to me and it made me feel a certain type of way.

I went back to read it too, and it definitely would relate to this situation.

That said, if the dialogue was exactly the same in JP where the voice actor was not changed, then it probably is just us projecting.

Also, if JB was recast, these would have been the perfect lines for him to voice as his farewell.

Yeah, I'd like some clarification from SE. I can get used to a new VA if needed (though obviously I'd prefer JB, he really IS the voice of G'raha), but they should be transparent about this. If the VA is changed, say so. If not, well, it's probably worth saying so as well, given how much attention this has generated.

Yes good point I don’t play in JP so I’m not sure what it says, nor for the other languages. Maybe someone who knows can enlighten.
