Well I could have articulated it better. But I was also half asleep when I wrote it. I should just re-do the OP heh.

This is how the forum seems to work. Someone suggest something that might be neat and fun or makes a simple joke and everyone else freaks out. Mini games are fun, some times they're more fun than the original game, they should be added into FFXIV. From card games to simple little carnival games. Are they a major selling point and needed right now? No. But are they something that should be looked into down the line? Yes.

Ya know I like the caravan idea. You should play mini games to unlock various prizes from the caravan. You can trade these prizes in for tickets which can be used to enter some sort of wacky psychedelic dungeon. For example: one of the boss fights requires a player to sit in the middle of the room and play a FFXIV version of Uno with the boss of the dungeon. While that is going on a 4 mini bosses spawn all of 4 different colors, red, blue, green, and yellow. The only one that can be harmed is the one that shares the color of the current active card. It's just an idea but I would like the idea of something simple and fun like minigames spawning into something creative and fresh.

Yeah I didn't mean something that would be around in the game 24/7 hence the idea of the caravan. It would be random.. and maybe even a once of month thing. Like a real traveling caravan. Not something you can follow from town to town. I just really think somewhere down the line something like that would be great to do, to take a break from all the grinding of gear and bosses.

Also your strange UNO idea sounds crazy as heck lol.
