DDOS attack again. 10:40 CST

Again tonight. Really, copy-paste tech support isn't the answer here.
Asking for some form letter response is a joke, support like telling you to reinstall windows because you have a problemI agree, this is atrocious!!
Adding my own comment here on the off-chance that this actually helps bring more attention to the issue. Charging a subscription and offering a service this unstable while providing zero compensation or hell, even information regarding how the issue is going to be resolved is unacceptable. I love this game. Please don't ruin it with awful mismanagement.
These issues have been occurring for over a year, with recurring periods of heightened DDoS activity and only brief stretches of stability. At this point, the problem feels persistent rather than intermittent.
From a customer perspective, the cause is irrelevant—the service is simply unreliable. While acknowledgements are appreciated, they do not resolve the issue. If these disruptions cannot be mitigated on your end, that should be communicated clearly along with any actionable guidance for players. Otherwise, it appears as unresolved server instability.
Maybe we should be putting in tickets for comepnsation from disruptions. Though we know we wont get anything, maybe enough tickets will help them act on this.

Server disconnects are happening every 9 hours or less. It is making a game that we pay for unplayable.

Trying to craft the new gear is a major risk at this point. If you enjoy crafting, you're gambling and will get disconnected at some point losing mats.
I'm starting to consider canceling my sub at this point. Been active for 9 years now. Guild Wars 2 servers re completely stable and no monthly sub.

They need to try to figure out what exactly is the problem. If it's a DDoS, SE Legal needs to start arrests NOW.
Or, preferably, several weeks ago.
If it's server architecture... Hoo boy.

I love this game but dear god I can't deal with this, I can't even get through a dungeon run, raid or trial without the mass lag spikes (which act as a warning that any minute now the entire server(s) will go down) and then promptly does.
I can't complete content without getting kicked and restarting the fights/dungeons/cutscenes and the few times I can I'm rushing through it without enjoying since I'm worried at any moment the server will go down and I'll have to start over and get a penalty for "leaving" aka the server died...which it does.
This isn't a new phenomenon, whatever solutions exist to transition to tech more resistant to this I'm sure the players would support downtime that would achieve this so that they can play with any degree of confidence that they can actually play and enjoy it. Please do something![]()
Packet dropping in combination with regular DCs has been semi-regular for the past few nights since the patch, PvP is like a slideshow at times and god forbid you attempt the new Extreme Trial with it's fairly aggressive timing mechanics in some phases. The game has been getting more and more aggressive with timing windows in fights and alternate signals for mechanics, all of which become way more difficult to interpret or execute on when having server instability or packet drops. Noise effects don't play at all or come out late, visual indicators are rubber banding etc.
Ironically, the game during peak hours has felt more like how the servers did back in Titan Hard mode, we are having to fight the server more than the actual content itself.
