    I am so lost...

    A lot of this seems to be trying to be trying to make sense of chaos. I think an easier explanation for the 'Worlds Beyond' is they kind of represent the locations the elemental shrines in FF9. The Earth Shrine is in the mountains like the 'earth world.' The Fire Shrine is located in the icy mountains as represented in the 'ice world.' And the Wind Shrine can be represented by the 'wind world.' The only one that's missing is water which if you really want to make a slant rhyme, could be represented by Queen Eternal herself taking full command of Alexandria manmade Aetherial Sea (big stretch), and being many-armed like Kraken.
