Please add an Ishgardian Starlight Mug

Ishgard is canonically the origin of the Starlight celebration, but is excluded from the Starlight festivities each year.

This year's event items are centered around the three starter cities, but I truly wish Ishgard was included at least with a mug. It should be quick and easy to add it with another texture on the existing mug asset.

Long term, I wish for a space to celebrate the event in it's city of origin, too. Please consider adding a space and celebrations for it.

Agreed. Ishgard is continually left out of the Starlight celebration. They could have easily made a mug for it too. This game is so formulaic and terrified to change things up, it's depressing.

Could have had Starlight take place in Ishgard this year, or all years to come for that matter.

I know they want it to be accessible to newer players, and you don't get to Ishgard until 3.0.
But HW and SB are part of the free trial, so it's not like players can't get there. They just have a couple of weeks maybe to rush through ARR to get there.

I for one would enjoy having Ishgard actually be part of the thing it was supposed to be about.

It would be nice to see something done in Ishgard for sure. Maybe we could have Estienien dress up as Santa one year and you have to help him pass out toys to the children in The Brume, or help 'save Starlight' from people trying to cause trouble?

Most seasonal events in this game are available to anyone with a class at or above level 15 so they are just always placed in the 3 starting cities. I do agree though that it'd be nice to have seasonal events take place in other cities even if that does mean having a higher level requirement to do them.

This opens up a lot of questions/requests. Ishgard and Kugane could be featured in a lot of different things, as at this point they're both pretty much "early game".

I guess a long as all the stuff is available in the starter cities. Or they could just let people travel to those cities at lower levels. They should decorate Ishgard.

Ishgard should have less tacky decorations than the starter cities, but it should have something.

My greatest wish would be a yearly Starlight market in the Pillars at least, there's more than enough space for it and it wouldn't take anything away from the feelings of the MSQ (nobility doesn't care much for the struggles down below). Add in the Starlight choir and other old mechanics for players to revisit each year in addition to the festivities in the starter city and voilà! It would be the most special Starlight place in the whole game. Since it's every year, it's also not a bad thing for new players to miss out on that part. They can look forward to next year!

While we're at it, Kugane could use a lot more Heavensturn spirit as well - another place of origin of an event that is shamefully omitted each year.

As far as the event quests go, one workaround I could see possibly working is to make an instanced section of Ishgard that players would be teleported to for the duration of the quest. That way new players can get to it without spoilers and Ishgard could have more of a presence.
Then "normal" Ishgard could just have decorations so everyone who is able to go there can enjoy them.
