I want job quests back. Role quests have largely just been awful and the removal of job quests has honestly only furthered the watering down of job identity. Yes, I understand they were removed because we get two jobs every expansion and the devs are finding it hard to keep up but honestly? I feel it would be very much worth the added development time.

I remember back in 2.0, 3.0, and 4.0 new job quests were always something I GREATLY looked forward to whilst leveling but with role quests? I don't even bother until I'm done with the MSQ usually and even then they typically do a poor job of making me feel invested (with some exceptions, Giott is the best). When I'm just there to be a "guy" it's a lot harder to feel attached than when I'm there specifically to get job lore. The role quests put me to sleep 90% of the time, full stop.

A major complaint of the community these days is the watering down of job identity that I mentioned earlier and while this is almost entirely due to boring homogenous rotations, I feel the removal of job quests for role quests back in Shadowbringers has only compounded this issue now that we are at the "breaking point". So I say we should bring them back, simple as. Thoughts?
