Blu quests locked behind masked carnival

I did write you on previous thread, but how you cannot complete it? It's not that hard if you have all spells or at least the good ones like Nightbloom, Being Mortal and so on. High dps spells help a lot here for 2nd part where hands come. This way you can one shot hands and not worry about their effects. Then you do diamond back to survive the tank hit (can quickcast it). Also watch guides. I did struggle here but only because my spells were so bad and fight was dragged on. I suggest sonic boom because it's a great dps for one of those hands. With strong aoes and magic breath, it's going to be easy.

Also take mimicry to healer / tank if you need more avoidance. Do not use mighty guard or it lowers dps greatly. Can use moonflute to kill hands faster and then quick diamond back when needed.

Likewise, just get good spells and open party finder to create your own blue farming group or find others. It will be hard since almost no one is doing it but you can try and spam cities for help. I had to spam every city /shout to get people in to help. Once you get good spells, those carnival things go fast. Also watch youtube guide, they help a lot.

If there's some specific spell I need, it's probably from a Stormblood or Shadowbringer trial/raid that I can't solo and finding other people to help collect said spell is nigh-impossible, not that I should be forced to rely on others to do Blue Mage when Square-Enix was so adamant about making it a "solo-friendly" limited job to the point of barring it from various pieces of group content. Switching the job's requirements for progress mid-stream just ended up with it floating off without me.

And watching guides never helps, its the same reason I don't do synced Extremes/Savages and don't touch Unreal/Ultimate at all. I'm not capable of having the same reaction times and memorization as hardcore players and so I don't do hardcore content, which Masked Carnival eventually turns into. At this point the job only exists for me to do the weekly Blue Mage challenges (and not even all of them, as sometimes the gold star one isn't doable for me) and farming 10 FATEs a week (and even then only through Shadowbringers until they increase its level cap).
