Connection problems since last weekend

Several friends and I have been experiencing serious disconnection problems since the weekend, roughly since Saturday. Most of us are we from different countries and internet providers, which is very strange.

These problems are incredibly annoying because they're not just one or two disconnections, nor are they constant. Sometimes you get disconnected repeatedly for an hour, then it works fine for two or three hours, and then it happens again, even when trying to log in. We've seen all sorts of error codes, from 90001/2/6 to 10105, etc.

Is anyone else having this problem? Could it be due to the constant DDoS attacks? The servers? The apocalypse?

I am not having disconnections, but I am having severe lag and hitching, which is making doing any type of roulette impossible.

It does not seem to be affecting everyone but honestly at this point I would rather be kicked sometimes. Crafting is completely impossible at some hours because all macros just break due to the high ping.

Nobody really knows because SE has been keeping quiet. At this point I am starting to hop on the train of people saying it really is just shitty software on terrible server hosts. One would think if outside sources were to blame they would do that to save their own hide, so the conclusion seems to be that they are at fault themselves.
Frontlines are absolutely unplayable. Hit my highest ping of 12k yesterday. The more people are in an instance the worse it is.

This problem has existed for a while. I believe its to do with the routing (I'm not a tech guy). I used to have this problem, using a vpn fixed it for me. If you contact se support they just blame your ip and provide no real assistance. This has been my experience anyways. ^^
