    More automation for tedious actions? Less clicks, more fun.

    I think there needs to be more automation for tedious actions, such as:

    - Repairing. One click - repair entire inventory, no confirmations, no questions asked.

    - Desynthesis. Similar UI to entrusting duplicates: you choose what to desynthese, and you desynthese it all at once.

    - Extracting materia. One click - and materia extracted from everything in your inventory, no questions asked.

    - Grand company expert delivery. Same situation, just have checkboxes and then one button to deliver all selected items in one go.

    - Crafting. Special section for crafting macro that allows only crafting actions and allows significantly longer macro. Once macro is built, you should be able to queue up to 99 crafts using it, just like quick synthesis.

    - Retainer ventures. Instead of having to constantly reassign ventures, have a mode where you can queue up certain amount of ventures, for example queue up 99 quick ventures, rewards go into retainer's inventory. As a balance measure, ventures queued up like that could take x2 time or x2 venture tokens.

    - Gardening. One click to water all plants in house at once. One click to plant everything, one click to harvest everything.

    - Retainer-assisted crafting. Whenever you open crafting log next to retainer bell, all retainers are summoned. Their items are counted towards what you have in your inventory and are being used during crafting without having to withdraw them first.

    I think someone already noted the gardening thing, it's a huge time waster as it is and definitely needs an update. Even if we can just fertilize and water everything at once and have to plant individually that would already save hours of pointless clicking in a month. Big +1 to that.

    The retainer-assisted crafting is actually fantastic, though the retainer interface needs an overhaul in general. It wouldn't even be so bad if you had access to your sales and their inventory without having to click back and forth through constant voice lines and waiting time to load. If they could make what you suggested work, maybe also with the chocobo-bags, that would be lovely.

    Macros - I think we need more slots in general. I know this might not be a very wide-spread issue but there's plenty of people who macro their targeted spells to party member 1-8 which instantly eats all of both your personal and shared spaces. But just having another page or two specifically for crafting would be a step up and deeply appreciated.

    The rest feels kind of self-explanatory and is all similar and yeah, I would love that. Being able to streamline mass-tasks just like the game lets you auto-craft stuff you have made before would be nice. Island expeditions can do it so it should work for other systems, too.

    I agree with every single point, but want to add my #1 pet peeve with the FF14 user interface:

    No more confirmation dialogs for actions that can easily be reverted anyway. Like taking an elevator to another floor: even if I'm mistaken, I can just ride the elevator back - no need to pester me *every* *effing* *time* if I'm really sure.

    I strongly disagree with crafting...

    At that point you may as well just delete all the crafting abilities, remove control stat, and then just fully commit to the cookie clicker experience.

    And yet I find endgame crafting to be an incredibly tedious process and one of my least favorite parts of the game. There is no strategy or skill in it. Everyone uses the same guides and macros or they can't craft endgame items. I'm not saying we go one click crafting, but the current system leaves a lot to be desired.

    That's fine, I never said that people don't find it tedious, just that I disagree with the solution. I've said it a thousand times before and I'll say it again, but the WWYW system when we had the adjustments made in Stormblood was perfect from my perspective... It created a nice little game out of it, and it rewarded you greatly for understanding the system and how those different abilities can interact... and whilst I can appreciate certain issues with crafting... I don't think it's something we should regress to this state

    Like, for me it just comes down to there's far better alternatives to seek than trying to turn the game into even more of a side-screen activity than it already is... I'm happy to agree the current system leaves a lot to be desired, but this just ain't the solution.

    What do you mean though? Crafting IS already a sidescreen activity that requires like 2 button presses per minute which most of the people automate via programmable keyboard macro anyway. The suggestion is just aimed to remove need to alt-tab every minute for like half an hour just to craft a stack of pots for your raid.

    I already stated even more than it already is.. I never said it wasn't, just simply that I don't think we should really be entertaining the idea even further, especially to this degree.

    Yes, there are plenty of things that people do... I am aware of this, it doesn't exactly make for a healthy game.

    When you're looking at queueing that number of crafts at a given point, the time factor becomes practically irrelevant.. At that point I would barely even be able to justify melding. I can simply just queue this up for 30-45 minutes, go play another game, go for a run or whatever... Like, it isn't just as simple as mass stack crafting pots for your raid. Hence why I said, you may as well just strip out all the crafting abilities and turn it into a complete cookie clicker with immediate return, as you aren't needing to interact with the game at all, at this point.

    Again, can appreciate that it isn't really far off, but I just personally can't agree with something that is 1) basically ToS-permitted botting, and 2) gives less of a reason to interact with the game.
