Honestly the lack of eligible women in the main cast is probably the biggest hang-up. As a woman that is attracted to men that exclusively plays female characters, it's often a blindspot for me personally.

I think about how I never got Harvestella because the gane had three male romance options but five female. Same problem.

We lost both Minfillia and Lyse, so who would we add for those who prefer women? Sphene? Mikoto?

And Mikoto has a huge crush on Cid, so I'd rule her out unless they're willing to scrap that bit of characterisation for her.
