    Enough.

    I am begging the moderators for this forum to speak to someone in charge.
    This place is your canary in the coal mines for NA players. We have no way to voice our pain and unhappiness in any other meaningful way.

    DT has been a disaster. The promised glam stuff is barely a band-aid for how terrible this xpac has been.

    The DDOS with yet again no response, no help, no communication is honestly the last straw. You can't just "UwU we are monitoring the situation" your way out of unstable servers forever, especially not during a time when the players are already unhappy. It's not good enough. We can see other MMOs handle the issue just fine.

    We need to see that SE cares. We demand clear communication. We demand to no longer be treated like the adopted child the company would rather not have to care for. We are your customers, the consumers of the content you claim to care so much about.

    These blanket posts are not good enough. People lost hours of hard work through failed crafts, deep dungeons, instance progress and venue attendance. And we still do not have any promise that this will not happen again, no transparency about what they are doing to combat the problem, nothing. All we get is the looming threat of possibly getting booted off the servers again randomly for no fault of our own.

    And worst of all, showing just how little they care, the servers are STILL overloaded. Any large scale content will drive your ping in the high 4-digits. They could not even be bothered to do a full restart and maintenance to make our experience more pleasant despite now admitting they were in fact aware and still are.

    It's not helplessness.
    It's clearly a lack of care.

    This? It no longer cuts it.



    I am sorry for the disgruntled and long rant but it is infinitely frustrating not being able to do anything to help myself. I am at the mercy of SE's grace, as are we all. I love this game. I'm one of those people who buys a ton of cosmetics because I like supporting the games I spend time in. That's exactly why it so upsetting to be ignored and treated like crap.
    Do they "owe" me or any of us anything? No. I know. But I also know MMOs tend to suffer exodus death spirals once the playerbase starts feeling like everyone is leaving. Once people feel like a game is doomed they will flock to greener pastures and in doing so hammer the final nail in the coffin. It has been a repeat pattern and SE is not immune to this effect. The 'too big to fail' fallacy has killed bigger franchises.

    I know I am a broken record but the anger comes from a place of love. I do not want this game to fail. I want to enjoy it for many years to come. But I also do not want to have to sit here and let myself be spit on repeatedly until it becomes unbearable.

    Please listen to us. Talk to us. Show that you care. That really should not be too much to ask.

    I'm a bit lost here. Why is the official recovery post being delayed by a week? And why did we get no updates from November 5th to 19th?

    Why should they pretend to care when they don't? They just got done firing most of their staff in the US and UK, and it's not like the English speakers in their Japanese offices are in CS.

    Not sure where else to post this ongoing complaint. As a paying customers and someone who has done cybersecurity as long as the internet has been online, please take a moment and focus on stopping the server outages. 1000 in the queue every two hours most of the weekend due to the connections being lost. Please fix this, it only takes a few moments to secure your server connections.

    You probably have more chance of an actual God / mythical figure answering your prayers than you do of the developers admitting the game ever has, will, or could have any problems whatsoever.

    If you want to complain about the server stability thats fine, but its crazy for you to call this expansion terrible while also not doing any of the content in the expansion lol.

    Its a big part of why it feels like SE ignores NA forums.

    90% of it is childish whinging, so it suppresses people with valid criticisms and suggestions.

    I don't blame square, but it also sucks that we get ignored a lot as well.

    Assuming NTT na node was the issue, if what is believed to be true, then that might be out of the hands of SE. That might be why there was a lack of updates.

    They should at least make a statement about what's causing these issues, or try to make an attempt to switch providers. Even if they have some kind of unbreakable contract with NTT, I feel like their service being down or unstable more often that it's up for days at a time should be more than enough reason for both Squeenix and NTT's teams to re-evaluate their deal.
