Possible Bug? Chocobo Races not counting for Moogle Tomestone challenge?

So I got the Participate in 3 chocobo races for the Minimog, and after doing 2 of them some of the others for some reason have not counted?

During one of the races the game lagged out pretty bad before it finished but it eventually caught up and went through, I didn't get d/ced or anything.

Then I noticed I didn't get the completion so I figured ok I'll just do another race, and for some reason it didn't count again anyway...

EDIT: I got it to go through with another race but that was still very strange that some of the others didn't count.

Current Known Issues (Nov. 18)

- In the Minimog Challenges chocobo race for the “Moogle Treasure Trove - The Hunt for Revelation” event, if multiple players participate in the same race, only one of the participants will be counted.
*We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and kindly ask that players either enter the chocobo race tutorial as no other players can participate ensuring that your participation is counted, or progress the Minimog Challenges through other objectives.

this is a dumb bug that kind of defeats the purpose of the challenge ?? husband and i did 3 races and only counted for me

Yeah, i found this by accident. I went to do some races this morning for the tomes. First race(and honestly the first race id run in AGES) there was another player. Neither of us did well(6th and 8th finishes i think) and i got no credit. My immediate thought was that it didnt work with multiple players to avoid cheating(que in as group, everyone sandbags so that the chosen player can win). So i stalled enough to see a solo race. Finished in the middle of the pack, got credit. But as i was thinking about it, the whole "no cheating" idea made no sense. It just said to run races, said nothing about doing well. So even if a group WAS doing that, it shouldnt matter. I then promptly ranked up to the next tier of races, finished in last in a solo race, and confirmed that placement didnt matter. Weird bug.

This issue seems to have been resolved by the Hotfix.
