8.0 keynotes seem to put an emphasis on character customization and there was even the ability to toggle select parts of individual gear pieces. If the point is to make players feel more unique then surely the ability to toggle on/off the MCH toolbox should be considered. It would be strange if this was one of the few things to be weirdly stubborn about not adding.
