    Please do something about dps survavibility in OC

    It's a pain in the ass.

    If you don't have a heal or your heal is bad, you just chain die with unavoidable dots or raid wides : IT'S NOT FUN.

    The knight protection buff doesn't help, the expensive gear doesn't help on that side either, the new ultra potion barely helps, the mastery bonus totally ignore protection or hp bonus, contrary to what Bozja/Zadnord did.

    The only ways to avoid that is either playing tank (that's nice, let's all play tanks, I guess that what you're looking for, since tanks can heal and dps too), either play heal (yeah, let's design a content that ignores 13 of the 21 jobs in the game), either using a phantom job that can heal, but then why the heck would I even run the freaking content if I can't xp my other phantom jobs? Get an already useless gear for other classes?

    I know you did that so healer could have something to do, and it's a good thing you tried, but it's time to look at reality : it failed to achieve what you wanted to do. So now, please do something. Idk, add a recup potion like the eureka potion or add a HP bonus in the mastery bonus, two solution you implemented in the past, that should make it better.

    Maybe the answer is to hope you get a healer in your party, or specifically ask for one in shout when recruiting for the party, or ask if someone will switch.

    i was mostly solo in oc... as dragoon.
    sure if you make a mistake, die and then cant get full before the next aoe hits you are helpless. and there are a few fights you cant survive alone even without mistakes.

    its fun that way though. i dont whish for it to be different.

    not every job combination has to be possible for every fight!

    And yeah, I feel the "just wait to have a heal in your party" is not a good solution enough.

    Yeah, on the paper, that's what it is. Practically, you only reach that state when you've finished leveling all your phantom jobs, which take A LOT of time, or decided to ignore some (or are ready to to lvl them up to a sluggish rate).

    Bad design choices is the problem, not tanks.

    No spells present to be used by everyone to help with sustain. All healing in phantom jobs is just randomly scattered. What was in bozja with tons of strictly defensive/lifesteal items is gone in OC.

    Yeah if they let us slot in one or two skills from a phantom job that you've mastered that would've made it a lot more interesting.

    This is funny in a way. Heals and other mechanics other than DDR being needed is actually good. But that's where it becomes interesting in content that doesn't guarantees certain roles of the trinity to play along the system: in Eureka/Bozja you could just take logograms or lost actions to alleviate your survivability, but here, you can't.
    Now if was willing to indulge in some doom posting, watch SE permanently delete survivability requirements like they did in deep dungeons instead of fixing the damn problem...
