    Game crashing DX11.exe errors

    Hello everyone,
I have come here as a very fluster player that all the sudden since the new big patch came out my game has been at randomly crashing to, now full time crashing by just playing a little bit. My computer is not over heating, and I have not gotten any blue screens or black screens with memory errors. My computer is not even a year old yet.
I have a 4080 super i9 14 gen with bios updates from 1/25. The 2 errors windows I got I will write the error codes out.

    Error Window 1:
An unexpected error has occurred. Exiting Final Fantasy XIV.

All I know that these are Direct X errors, and I did check my direct x and it came back ok. I repaired the game twice and that didn't work and I uninstalled and reinstalled, and I have no idea what's going on and or what might have happened from the game working correctly. Could use a lot of help, im very new to PC gaming.

I am having the same issues as you and its only getting worse and unfortunately there is no end in sight. I am using the basic FFXIV launcher , reinstalled the game and cannot understand what is causing my crashes.

I had the same issue. I updated my MSI bios to the latest level, and everything works again. There is an issue with some Intel CPU's hat can be fixed by a bios update.

If the 13/14 gen chip is too far gone, an update won't fix it. The issue you're talking about is the chip degradation that happens because Intel allowed board makers to literally fry the CPUs by sending too much power to the chip. If the chip degraded too Mich the BIOS update won't fix the issue, you'd have to contact Intel for a warranty replacement CPU. (Again, if the chip is too far gone... But again, running any chip past the manufacturer recommendation, should he swapped out if you're eligible.)

Please post a FFXIV System Information log in full here. (search for it in starmenu)

These crashes are also caused by RGB Software, MSI Center, ASUS Armory Crate, Overlays (Discord etc.) and unneeded Anti-Virus installed at the same time. Try remove that, helped another player here.
