I get their point, but also, I agree with yours more haha.

When that which shall not be named went down, the outrage prompted management to act and respond properly.

I think that same type of energy needs to be shown on media platforms for ddoss attacks so they can respond accordingly, cause at this point, it feels like a lot of this regions concerns are ignored and 'not their problem.'
