The Atomos Thread

Exactly what it says: been trying to figure out how to do this quest, and have found Atomos twice so for, but it never summoned anything. Does anyone know how this quest works?

You just have to kill one of the things it spawns. If there aren't any mobs around it, that means they're all already dead.

That's just it, both times I found it, it didn't spawn anything, the second time I got to Blue Fog at about the same time it spawned, I stayed until it despawned, again, it didn't spawn anything, and there was no one else at the camp. All it did was make the Aetherite glow like a bonfire.

Combine with these 2 posts, that's your answer... something to add: it don't pop at all 5 camps, I see mostly pop 3 camps at same time. at 18:00, undead will pop can be pop at 2 camps at same time too...
...and there are indeed lots people started new thread and asked the same question and forum answered it. Just got washed away by the old posts... so both sides... chill

Atomos pops at these time (in game):

00.00 - 6.00 - 12.00 - 18.00

and depops after 3h 18mins (in game)

but in these days at ever lakes and bluefog i don't see pops of atomos at this hours.. maybe change

EDIT: oh, mob pops not sure... maybe are random

oh hmmm since I saw someone's post that undead spawn at day time too... so I guess I was wrong up there.
undead can be spawn day or night :O

but ya... I'm sorry but your timer is not that good because every 3 game hours it pop or depop. in the other words, it moves every 3 hours and it can be happened in multiple camps at same times...
For the undead, at least for 2 events, I waited long time until 18:00, another day was 0:00 then undead spawn. Both me and my mule see the undead spawn at 2 different camp for these 2 days of camping.

You know... sometimes I hate ppl tell me just go read more posts, too... but I donno...

gotta tele around to a camp that has mobs, gonna need a buddy to heal you cuz solo they will kill you.
