    DDOS or Other - Reconsiderations are Needed

    IF SE is unable or unwilling to correct the issues with massive and frequent disconnects now happening from the servers, there needs to be a reconsideration on the punishments players are getting which are leading to a desire to not play the game at all.

    Sure, we want to do Pilgrims Traverse but its an automatic failure when everyone gets disconnected. At floor 93, this sucks. On Eureka Orthos, Heaven on High and Palace of the Dead, this is even more punishing. This is not the only content being affected.

    Chat, both in-game and out, is nothing but complaining this week of the constant disconnects. There is no way SE is not aware of these issues but why has there been nothing said since November 4th? We are getting multiple disconnects per day. After 5 yesterday (Saturday) I decided to walk away. We have been hit a couple of times today already.

    Ever tried playing another game?

    Destiny 2's loot is broken right now so I can't consistently farm for some stuff I want. So I just play something else instead.
    I can elaborate further if it's hard to understand.

    I guess not.

    You should try it sometime. If I don't feel like PvP'ing in Frontline anymore today I'ma just hop onto Ys X: Nordics to finish more of that game out. The concept really isn't deep at all.

    As how rampant dcs are due to these situations, I do think it is more than necessary for them to put some pity system in place for players who dced during deep dungeons. Not sure if this can be applied to other fights though.

    There should absolutely be measures put in place to protect actual paying customers from the fallout of DDoS. Imagine being at .1% for a first clear, or floor 99 of a tower...

    I'm just gonna be frank, when I know there's a significant amount of server instability, I don't do Deep Dungeons. There's so much other stuff I want to do in the game that it can wait a few days for the stability to return. If you do content knowing that a D/C will end your run at a time when D/C's are happening frequently...
