We're not exactly swimming in new players. If anything, we're drastically losing members. Any minor change to the inventory would be retention instead of loss.

As I have explained in my post, I'll explain again but differently: Old rewards should always stay! Even if it was just a little something new, I know for that item both veterans/new players would participate more. However, this is with the idea for new players/returning players catching up... I am in a VERY high populated server (Taiwanese server) and this event is EMPTY. We are not talking Dynamis/Oceanic server. There Is no new players.


I do every day 3x mentor roulette. My Khloe book still sits on 1 point for 2 weeks. I cannot get "bonus point for new player incompletion" regardless of doing roulettes every day and 2-3x mentor roulette at most/least... A reminder, FFXIV lost 95k PLAYERS since Dawntrail... and new players are barely in it. It is kind of more serious than people may think. When I am playing in the NA servers on my sub character I have no issue at all to find new players. so maybe in NA it is less apparent.
