It's for people who missed out, obviously.

People not doing it is good because no competition means you actually have a chance of winning. Even if you win against other players, you will probably lose according to the server due to others getting the winning "snapshot".

As I have explained in my post, I'll explain again but differently: Old rewards should always stay! Even if it was just a little something new, I know for that item both veterans/new players would participate more. However, this is with the idea for new players/returning players catching up... I am in a VERY high populated server (Taiwanese server) and this event is EMPTY. We are not talking Dynamis/Oceanic server. There Is no new players.


I do every day 3x mentor roulette. My Khloe book still sits on 1 point for 2 weeks. I cannot get "bonus point for new player incompletion" regardless of doing roulettes every day and 2-3x mentor roulette at most/least... A reminder, FFXIV lost 95k PLAYERS since Dawntrail... and new players are barely in it. It is kind of more serious than people may think. When I am playing in the NA servers on my sub character I have no issue at all to find new players. so maybe in NA it is less apparent.

New rewards needed if u have to attract people to the content.

If event is FOMO, like this one (hey guys, only few weeks!!!), people will come anyway, even with old rewards.

If you love playing the event, play the event. It's a game, have fun. The obsession with rewards is putting you in your own way.

noo we need to put more rewards that u probably will never use, to create a gap between old players and new players on a limited event!

It's just laziness at this point. And people will cope and tell you that actually it's a good thing that nobody cares about the event because now you can run the maze more efficiently. Brainwashed behavior. Utterly mazed. But my opinion is moot. I think all those rewards look like garbage and you couldn't pay me to participate in that snapshot addled dumpster fire.

Also please not the rewards discussion again, Jesus Christ. The bay majority of people will do this stuff the first time for the experience, but if you want them to repeat it, you need some kind of reward, especially if it's something dull or monotonous. Otherwise don't act shocked when people drop it after one clear. This is basic human nature.
