I'm sorry, I thought I was clear enough for you. Is English not your first language? I can attempt to break it down for you a bit more if you'd like.
Here, let put it as if I was speaking to someone who overheard the phrase "moving goalposts" for the first time today: The first response was a direct response to the implication that what the content was "work." The next response was answering your question directly by showing you that your assumed negative connection with the term "work" was flawed and was making you unable to see the bigger picture. That you may have misunderstood the original intent of the message you initially responded to.
See? 2 responses to 2 different concerns that I made tie together. No goal poses have been moved. Do I need to make this simpler to understand for you, or do you have it now? If you'd like, I have a few guides on hand for reading comprehension improvement, as well as a few that teach you how to begin critically thinking. Shall I provide those to you?

To be fair they are likely wanting them to cost lesser tomes like the EW relics did. The ones that are quite literally worthless once the crafting materials you can buy with them crash. The EW relics were basically free and required no extra work to get on top of doing your normal roulettes for normal tome gear.
It was not implied. It was explicitly stated by the poster I was replying to.I'm sorry, I thought I was clear enough for you. Is English not your first language? I can attempt to break it down for you a bit more if you'd like.

It isn't. Entertainment exists in opposition to work, so when the entertainment becomes work, it fails its very purpose.your assumed negative connection with the term "work" was flawed
"that I made tie together"? English is in fact not my first language, but with grammar like that I hope that it isn't yours either. Anyway, it was one single concern. You mischaracterized it as a different concern the second time around, or colloquially, you "moved the goalpost".See? 2 responses to 2 different concerns that I made tie together.
Work is just the process of finishing a task, it has nothing to do with being the opposite of entertainment. If your task is to finish a puzzle, you do work to complete the puzzle. If your task is to paint a wall, you do work to complete the work. If your task is to go to the gym and lose weight, your work is the activity of going to the gym and making a diet plan for yourself.
In terms of relic weapons, the task is the completion of the relic weapon. In order to achieve this goal, you need to put in work, whether that is gathering tomes, doing FATEs, completing books etc.
The issue you have is you have attributed 'work' to only look at the act of going to a job and getting paid for it. All the activities you do at your job is classed as work but that is due to the fact that the 'task' is 'do your job'.
So, when 'IOwn92FCHouses' states that some will like it and some will dislike it, they are correct.
Another "I don't like this game" topic.
Please, no. Look, I did my fair share of complaining with Eureka and Bozja, but ultimately the feeling of completing the weapons through them was very gratifying and what we got in Endwalker was an absolute joke (and not just because it was tied to Hildebrand either). As other people have said, there are other options out there for you to get better weapons. Relics are meant to be a grind equivalent to the amount of work one would put in for Savage content.
What I always found confusing is that people whine about EW relics being "tome weapons" while seeming to forget how many thousands of tomes go into making ARR and HW relics too. Like, it takes almost as many tomes for those as it did EW ones yet somehow people give them a free pass, or even try to hold them up as the gold-standard for relic grinds we need to "go back to".
Anyway, I'm not a fan of relics being tied to Field Operations because Field Operations frankly suck as content. So the end result is that relics just feel like this pointless lump of content to me because there's no actual "fun" way to get any of them, they're always a painful slog.

Not many people liked the ARR and HW relic process, for starters. They were both heavily criticized by popular opinion, especially the ARR one for being expensive in Gil and the HW one for requiring heavy savage content. That all aside, the main problem people had with the EW ones isn't so much that they cost tomes, it was more that they took zero effort whatsoever. Just doing your usual normal daily roulettes passively gave you enough garbage tomes to finish as many EW relics as you wanted without any impact to your normal gear grind and playtime. They were essentially free. What I always found confusing is that people whine about EW relics being "tome weapons" while seeming to forget how many thousands of tomes go into making ARR and HW relics too. This is the first time I have ever heard the grind of Relics compared to the effort of clearing Savage. I wouldn't consider them to be even remotely equivalent. Please, no.
