Can we go back to using tomes to get relics?

I literally just took DRK from 90 to 100 only doing FATEs and still needed 4 Demiatma. Currently needing just 3 now.

At least give us an option to buy the materials with Tomestones in addition to the normal way please. Say 200 each or heck even 500 would work for me.

Might as well just scrap the relics at this point. The few of us who actually likes grinding for them are in the minority, so might as well just ditch the concept and use those resources to give other content proper rewards.

You still get all of them with tomes, there is only an additional task for the first time you complete a step

Lol. Learn to put the slightest bit of effort into something for once. Sorry for the harsh truth, but you should absolutely need to earn something that will eventually become the best weapon in the game for a bit, and will likely be your best weapon through the expansion.

However, before you get to the tomestone step, you first have to do the traditional relic grind to "earn" your relic. If you don't do that then you didn't earn it. In MMORPGs, you are meant to earn your rewards, otherwise they have no prestige or respect.

The grind is not that bad, really. If you think it's bad, then you should try playing older MMORPGs that make you grind for years to get things, and that's without accounting for eating and sleeping. This is a tiny fraction of that because it's a modern MMORPG.

No. I just did the Atma stage on an alt and got it in like 3 days of OC and finished the last couple with DT fates.

Relics are supposed to take work. Making them entirely tome buys destroys the entire point of relics.

They've already thoroughly destroyed the point by now: there's no semblance of a narrative or lore surrounding them, 7.25 was the first step to consist of more than running roulettes(which they immediately defaulted back to) since 5.55, and they're useless even as catchup weapons up until the end of the expansion. They could remove relics entirely, add a special 1500 tomestone weapon in X.55, and the only things lost would be glamour.

I'm personally not averse to effort, I'm just averse to effort into things I actively despise.

Tomes aren't the most exciting when it comes to relics, but at least they allow me to put effort into what I choose to do because that's what I like doing.

Relics are not mandatory and we already have tome weapons.

Why are you spending money on a game you are actively trying not to play?
