I now think there's another reason PVP Feast veterans don't want their pixel trophy not being shared amongst their fellow players:

RMT. Money. Dindin. Gold.

Since Feast rewards are exclusive, their accounts have more real world monetary value.

If one were to sell their account with a exclusive item, it would sell for 10x more.
