I just got told that the Replicas will most likely not be dyable (As it was with other Replicas). If thats the case its easy to tell apart the Fake stuff from the Real Deal. For me that would be okay.

I honestly, truly, would not care if they did. Same goes for the goobbue and the chocobo. The legacy brand is hidden by 90% of the armors and 70% of the hair options so much like a real tattoo, I forget it's even there most days. Again, it's the memories that are important.

I could tell you about how we couldn't jump, so a knee high wall was an impassable obstacle just like in pokemon, how there were no chocobos at launch because they were "sick" so we had to walk everywhere until they implemented, how taking a boat from la noscea to thanalan had actual travel time so you had to sit in the hold and wait to arrive, how navigating around the black shroud wasn't actually as bad as you'd think despite the infamous map, etc, etc...

How about we gatekeep everything then? You don't get to have any mounts, gear, or minions (etc) unless you have obtained them when they were current/first launched.

I said what I wanted to say. Content shouldn't be unreachable just because people joined later.
I am not even interested in the Feast rewards because frankly they have the smell of win trading for me personally and I still remember the topics from back then about it.
The CHANCE of getting things in this game should always be there.

its been 10 years if the feast glams are what you continue to sub for then i think thats kinda sad tbh most newer players dont even know what feast is only people who are really into pvp knows what the glam represents and even then i dont think anyone really cares anymore with the current state of the game

They aren't rewards for playing a specific content in a specific time frame and reaching a specific rank/place in a competitive way against other players. Feast and CC rewards are.

On the one hand artificial scarcity sucks but on the other hand people's time and investment should be respected. If you're told a glam is unique to a one off piece of content then it should be unobtainable after out of respect to those who went to the effort of getting it. The issue I take here is the content having been a one off, it should be recurring content with a new/tweaked glam reward so if you want the 2015 edition of the glam you have to do the 2015 event.

As to the question of gatekeeping mounts/minions etc, at most I would argue that to get achievements and titles you should have to do the content synced, I would also accept drop being raised (as they are) as content ages but that they should be lower when unsynced to incentivise people doing the content as intended.
