You played more than me on a version of the game that doesn't exist anymore. Congrats I guess? And yes, you trying your hardest to portray my stance in black and white means you lack any nuance whatsoever. People who want to experience the 1.0 story again can watch a youtube video of it and get a similar experience. People who want the feast rewards are out of luck until the devs add them back in the game. The differences are there, you are just too stubborn to acknowledge them.

And I meant the game is in a better state overall, I can't comment too much on the job changes over the years because like you said I didn't experience the heavensward jobs myself. So we are both opposite sides of the same coin in a sense. You admittingly know more about the game as it was 9 years ago and I know more about it in it's current state. Once you reach dawntrail endgame you can apply all of your knowledge from the past to the present and come back and prove me wrong. As it stands now though from my perspective, you are talking about things you don't know much about.

But then why did you seem to be claiming that watching videos of level 100 endgame content isn't good enough to form an opinion that should be taken seriously about how jobs play?

It almost seems like you just can't stop contradicting yourself. Also love the goalpost moving. Now even pre-ARR XIV doesn't count. Pretty soon it's going to be only playing the game after your own personal join date counts. You're also acting like I haven't had access to some of those very same skills that are now higher level than me. That isn't the case. Throughout the expansions, they have taken some skills that used to be at the previous level cap and raised the level to obtain them.

But again, you've only played for the last 4 years, so I wouldn't expect you to realize something as crucial as that.

I really don't care what your opinion of me is. I seriously could not care even a tiny bit less. Trust me, I care even less about your expertise and trying to tell me how the game is in a better state than it was from a time 6 years before you even began playing. The difference here is that I have been around for both time periods. I definitely can speak on the complexities of jobs being extremely toned down from how they were back then. I was around back then. You were not. I know how to read my actions and traits menu, as well as read online job rotation guides to see where the few skills I do not currently have access to actually fit into the current rotation. I don't need to actually slot the buttons on my hotbar and hit them to know how the job is going to play at 100. I'm sorry that you are apparently incapable of working out how a handful of skills and the traits associated with them will differ between 76 and 100, but not all of us suffer from that debilitation.
