As far as the CE goes and what was "in the box" you got security token, a journal, and behind the scenes DVD. These are all tangible items which will not go away and are yours forever. The security Token will still be usable for 2.0 as well. The game itself was the same regardless of buying the CE or standard version.

I could see it being a nice gesture for them to come up with a new "in game" item to give CE buyers but as far as Beta goes anyone who started playing at 1.0 launch has invested just as much time in this game as CE players and the items you get to keep forever justify the extra cost for CE.
like i said before, im not demanding anything but as you said, a new USEFULL ingame item for CE purchasers would be a good gestuer to those who did spend more then minimal as a signe of their support to the FFXIV campain. However if they would rather opt out and give us dibs on 2.0 content, not only would that be fitting but it would ample to keep that fan base as excited about the ffxiv campain as they were when they reserved thier CE coppies. Ofcourse, SE has no real reason to do this other then to apease faithfull folowers.
