    S-rank pest protection idea.

    On Primal, we have a pest player who early pulls and begins killing level 50 S-ranks before all the participants arrive. Often, only a couple players can get a hit in. Reporting the offending player doesn't help, since he's free to attack any mob he wants at any time.

    Solution: Lock all spawned mobs for a certain time after spawning so they can't be attacked until the time runs out. 5 minutes should do.

    If I had 1 coin (of any value) for every person that has ever suggested this idea, I would be very wealthy. Most people just attending hunts seem to have this same idea.

    However, there are some problems with it in practice, such as the spawner just waiting 5 minutes before circulating the information, resulting in the same problem. It could be done like Ixion, but then the player that is pulling it immediately could come with the special item needed to unlock it.

    The better option would be for SE to scale the hunts to the number of participants - since it's a problem they need to tackle with FATEs as well in places like Occult Crescent. Then they would take time to be killed.

    While I don't do this, I'm not obligated to wait for 200 other players from various worlds and data centers to show up if I took the time to spawn it. I should be allowed to kill my bounty without having to wait for a bunch of leeches to crawl out of the ground to nibble.

    Waiting is just something the community decided. Back when hunts were first introduced, there was no world or data center travel and enemies were scaled for what an average server could handle. Unfortunately, like a lot of things in this game, new hunts were never adjusted for how the game as changed and now you end up with enemies that should be threatening but end up dying in 5 seconds as the whole region wants their paper-thin slice of the pie.

    If it was up to me, I would make it so those from other servers do not get credit for defeating hunt marks. "But you need thousands of kills to get the achievements, server travel is required!!!!" some might say, but there's plenty of super grindy achievements already in the game, and they continue to add more. Just look at the 1000 carrots in OC or 30000 accursed hoard ones recently added.

    As game goes, some things self-establish to be done one way or another. Game should constantly adapt itself towards community needs.

    i think lv 50 A/S ranks are the weirdest example for that because most people I know, including myself, just kill those when we happen to see them to behin with. I get it for DT and even EW, but anything before that? seriously? especially allied seals are way easier to obtain via BLU anyway

    /e: also since the S ranks have spawn conditions i doubt anyone is actually camping the spawner and earlypulling
    /e2: also with like 150 ppl in instance and nobody getting the memo that they should use enmity generating stuff (not DMG), no s rank will ever accommodate everyone

    I somewhat feel like the coordination to kill it would raise if expansion zone areas were kept at their level cap of the area. ARR at 50, HW at 60, SB at 70 etc.
    Though in the same token, people like playing with their full ability toolkit that it would be more of a level down stat wise.
    Only thinking of this as I recall the idea was suggested in the past in an early Live Letter, but we can see that was scrapped for the time. Not sure if putting that in now would be an idea to encourage more people needed.

    They're not designed to be gotten by everyone. These requests come up from time to time and they go against the fundamental idea of a hunt.
    I could type up an entire paragraph of details but I dunno how much of it will actually help. They're overworld mobs. They can be pulled at any time. You can't get salty because you weren't fast enough. There'll be more in the future, don't stress over it.

    First off, what they are doing is in fact entirely legal, and you can't really blame them either, however showing some courtesy would be nice to wait 5mins after spawn.

    The problem with the hunt... is that it is level based, all the hunts should just be level 100 from ARR to DT and scale after max possible ilevel as well so it would be scaling after 760 now.
