    I liked your idea for I have shared the same idea but until then I have the Lancer Trait Fleet of Foot and that makes up for the speed loss, so I just pop Quickstride and run with my weapon out.

    I'm pretty sure Quickstride + Fleet of Foot in Active is still not as quick as Quickstride in Passive. When you're running in active switch to passive and it seems noticeably faster.
