    Can't join any duties (90002)

Hello. Since the patch (7.45) my main character on Cerberus@Chaos couldn't join any duties. Every time I hit "accept" and the screen darkens, I get kicked out of the game with 90002 error before even the "Light Party" message pops up. I tried joining dungeons, trials, raids (sync and unsync), solo duty, Occult Crescent, roulettes, etc but nothing works. I can travel across DCs and the Worlds, join the hunts, teleport around, but not enter any instances. Only one of my characters is affected by this, my alts even on the same World can join duties with no problems. I don't experience any lag and I don't disconnect unless I try to join duties.

It's been 5 days, but the tech support was pretty much ignoring me and not providing any help at all. I did everything they told me to try in their first message: reinstall the game, repair Windows, renew IP, open ports, log in from a different PC with a different service provider, travel to another DC (Light, Materia)--nothing works. It's obviously not a me problem, and the posts on reddit from a year ago describing the same problem on EU DCs confirm this. Unfortunately, despite people reporting it, there was no mentions how and if it was fixed, and having no information and being basically ignored doesn't help. Am I the only one who's experiencing this? Will it be fixed?

UPD: Strangely, I've found a very weird way to resolve my problem - I used fantasia and turned my character into a lalafell. Fantaing into a hyur before didn't help, so maybe a complete change of the model's skeleton this time somehow helped with a soft reset of the character. This solution might not work for everyone, but it was the only thing that actually helped me with this problem.

I was having a similar thing a few months ago where I would just randomly 90K after a while which I thought I'd narrowed down to me using my own router rather than my ISPs provided one.

Tonight however, the random 90Ks are back, luckily for me it hasn't happened during a trial or dungeon (yet) but I'm just waiting for the moment it does. Its making helping my friend through MSQ really tedious when I can (almost) predict I'm going to 90K at least hourly at this point.

Also on an EU data center (Lich) I haven't tried any alts I've made on other data centers yet, but I'm thinking I'll probably have the same issues.

Really wish it could get fixed, I finally had the itch to play the game again and its been soured by these issues.

Thank you for posting in the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

We appreciate you raising this to us, and it's great that you have tried some troubleshooting steps on your end as well. The 90002 error is an error that appears usually when there is a connection issue or interference with the game's servers. If you're playing on a PC/laptop I would recommend trying out the following troubleshooting steps to see if it helps with alleviating the issue:

In the Control Panel of the PC, please go to ‘Network and Internet’. Once there, select ‘Internet Options’ and adjust the following settings:
    - Under the "General" tab, please delete ALL browser history.
    - Under the "Security" tab, please move the slider to the lowest possible settings or no higher than "Medium"
    - Under the "Privacy" tab, click “Advanced” and select ‘Accept’ under both First Party and Third Party Cookies.
    - Under the "Advanced" tab, please make sure that "Allow software to run or install even if signature is invalid" is CHECKED.
    - Make sure that all SSL and TLS (EXCEPT SSL 3.0) are CHECKED. [SSL 3.0 should be UNCHECKED]
    - Hit "Apply" to save the settings, and then "OK, to close the Internet Options menu.
    - Right-Click on the FFXIV launcher icon and select "Properties"
    - Hit "Apply", then "OK" to save the changes.
    - Please RESTART your PC after. Once your PC has been restarted, right-Click the FFXIV launcher icon once more and select "Run as Administrator".

Additionally, please make sure all background applications, including anti-virus programs, are disabled or closed to minimize game interference before attempting to log in.

If you're using a different device (Xbox/PSN), kindly let us know so we can check further as well. Should the issue persist after the troubleshooting steps, please respond to us so can investigate.
