    If you haven't been paying attention the design philosophy towards any non-raid rewards for years has been that the cosmetics are the content and everything else is basically just a formality. Relics have been turned into glorified tomestone weapons. Whenever a new piece of content comes out you can just buy 80-90% of the rewards for a pittance on the market board. OC chests crashed a ton of markets for items that used to go from millions to tens of millions. Etc.

    I'm not sure why the raid community is shocked that this problem finally caught up to them or why they think anyone should care. Maybe you should have spoke up sooner?

    Would I prefer more meaningful reward structures for everyone across the board? Of course. But in the games current state I'm happy to see items not being locked behind content I never had any intention of touching. Go ahead and give us dyeable raid gear and weapons while you're slopping up the game SE.

    And why would you assume that raiders don't do other content as well, and also didn't complain when the other rewards were underwhelming? It seems you're the one not paying attention.

    Let's add even more content for 3% of the playerbase like already we have enough of teammates to play the game.

    It's time to let it go as the old OC rewards were added back in Stb which is now a part of the free trial it's time to accept it and move on and find a more profitable way to make gil than RNG items in chests from 3 expansions ago.

    Also, the main issue I can see that most players on NA aren't into high-end content, so even if they added a good/cute reward like the axolotl no one cared beyond someone making a meme post on forums when it came out. I don't blame them, as I farmed old Ex mounts for a few months it ended up being boring. They were OK mounts, I guess, but I can't imagine being compelled to do DD for a flying chandelier or some fairy accessories.

    Finally, they added Chaotic and Forked Tower raids, which have decent rewards like exclusive armor, hair, mounts, and minions, and it just made everyone angry to have to join and sign up on Discord or PF with others in-game.

    More like scaling from savage+ to ultimate; an FC mate that did Q15 compared it to a 3rd savage fight, and I'm seeing a lot of people claim that Q40 is essentially a mini-ultimate.

    Base TFV meanwhile is not anywhere near ex level, I'd put it on par with something like on-release Bozja bosses, or the current alliance raid. Somewhat of a step up from pre-DT "normal" bosses but still considerably below extreme. And it's even easier when fought in the DD itself because of pomander buffs and incense

    As I said in the 1.0 thread, rewards are this games biggest issue. They can make the most magnificent fight, but if we only get materia, what’s the point? The harder the quantum fight, the faster you should get rewards. Somebody doing Q40 should get rewards considerably faster than somebody who does Q15. The rewards would be the same but the respect for time investment would be there.

    I definitely agree with the heart of this post. For me i think the most elegant solution would be to allow you to upgrade the weapons to a glowy version using the First Light Relics (the items that come from the blessed hoard). That way this would not be completely locked behind quantum, as you can get them from the challenge log, but quantum would be the only way to get them without having to wait for the weekly challenge log.
    I'd hope this would satisfy both more casual players and raiders as it wouldn't completely lock the items behind tough raid content, but it would incentivise participating in that content more if you wanted to try to get more of these weapon upgrades.
    It'd be amazing to see if SE would consider this feedback and backfill more rewards into the Blessed Hoard, as I'm concerned that Quantum might die quickly with only a couple of mounts and a fashion accessory as obtainable rewards
