Thread: A question regarding the config in 2.0

Is there any info on whether or not this will be changing in 2.0?

As it currently stands, changing even the simplest of graphics settings involves logging completely out, altering them, and then logging back in to see if they're to your liking. If they're not, you need to repeat the process any number of times until you get what you want.

I'm sure most of us would prefer to be able to change them in game, as needing to log out to change any settings is just a needless hassle.

i believe it was said that changing basic setting would indeed be possible within the game come 2.0, more advance setting though would probably be a no go as you would "need to restart the game for changes to take effect" as with many other games out there.

Yep, I hate the ffxiv config, ffxi had it as well. It's stupid.
