Can we have deep dungeon explorer mode?

I've never been particularly compelled to post on the FFXIV forums, as for the most part, I'm content with the state of the game (I know I can't influence most of the problems I have with it). There's just one thing I can't reconcile...

Why don't we have explorer mode for deep dungeons? And for that matter, why no explorer mode for a wider variety of content?

With the release of the shiny brand new deep dungeon, I'm once again reminded that doing group posing in the regular stages is such a PITA. I've tried in the past, only to be killed by an enemy that happened to spawn too close. :X

This extends to content beyond Pilgrim's Traverse. Alliance raids, for example, require the player to queue in with at least 3 other players, and is unavailable to Explorer mode. Why not then just instance the player into the map in its "completed" state, the same way they do with regular dungeons in explorer mode? You can backtrack the entire raid once you finish it and everyone's left, meaning that state already exists. But for this posts purposes, I won't demand the world and more.

For deep dungeon, I'm aware it's different... but... I would really appreciate Explorer mode feature for Deep Dungeons. Simply wipe all the mobs (and the treasure, obviously) from the tile set and enable the Cairn (or variants) of passage automatically.

Definitely not the only one who wants this, especially after seeing Pilgrim’s Traverse!

I would like every duty to have Explorer mode, along with a toggle between its original and completed states.

They need to open it to every instanced duty they have.

I really wanted to use some of the Raid/Trial stages, but I need to normally queue for it (if not soloable), clear the encounter, just to have access to the stage empty.

Most importantly, Alliance Raids. You can't even enter them alone unsync'd to clear and gpose... gotta bother 2 other people to form the 3 Alliances. Most of them aren't soloable to do that, though.

I do wonder... is that hard to implement Explorer Mode to other duties, or it's just that they don't care to do it?

The main difference I notice between a duty that has Explorer and the ones that don’t, is the ability to add the striking dummy so you can use the 3 LB buttons. But other than that, it’s just the empty stage, usually in its completed state, which is why I’d like a toggle because there’s a good many I’d like to use in the “before” state, and I can’t just queue up with 3 full Alliances and gpose while everyone else is fighting the boss! (Last stage of Thaleia with the dark starry sky, my beloved!) I’m betting things like the raids might be a little more complex because they’re usually queued for with multiple people, although the Normal raids don’t have that issue when running unsynced.

Even so, if they just make it straight up empty stage (and maybe consider working on that toggle in the future! lol) that would give a lot more options. So many pretty places in this game it would be nice to take full advantage of!
