Deep Dungeons - Four Player Matched Party?

I saw a PF listing by someone asking to be carried 1-30 in Orthos. Two other players besides myself accepted and we did it. Simple.

One hitch though. We were losing our pomanders after every boss. Despite being a 4 player static, could the party leader (presumably a newbie) have signed us up as a matched party? Why would the game even allow that? "Ah yes you have 4/4 party members, I see you need 0 more, let me add you to the queue. Congrats your party is full! You may proceed."

lol it sounds like that's exactly what your party leader did, poor guy.
I wouldn't be surprised if the game didn't see an issue with it considering it might be reusing the code for queueing into regular roulettes...

Its intended design, but a newbie trap.
Imagine you wanted to do lets say PotD, which has the matched party availability stretched to 1-100 instead of the 1-30 hoh and eo provide, and did not want to commit to same party every time, or needed to get up to a certain floor on specificly matched save slot, because idk your friend was stuck in queue for 81-90 or whatever other reason. I could see someone wanting to use matched party for that.

Of course deep dungeon provides a better solution for that, which is "disband your fixed party" which basicly converst the fixed slot to matched slot, but its fair to assume a new dd player wont know this.
