Battle in Big Keep

Hi, trying to get the spell missle, this trial is missing from my duty finder , iam lvl 80 Blue Mage , ive tried unsync ,still doesnt show up on my list. anyone have any ideas?

Keep is a Hildibrand trial. You'll have to run most of ARR hildibrand for that.

In addition to this trial, you can also get that skill from one of the stormblood raids. The 3rd Sigmascape fight also uses this move(along with 1 or 2 others you may be missing). A few of the moves are in Hildy trials though, so you may want to unlock them anyway.

thats a lvl 70 one, can i go right into it or have to get real party , seems i cant use npcs because blue is limited job

To get into the Hildy storyline(and the trials that accompany it) you start with a quest in Ul Dah called The Rise and Fall of Gentlemen. If you dont see the quest available in town then you might have started or even finished some parts of it in the past. Check you quest log to see where to continue from. Hildy is one of the major side stories, so it should be easy enough to find.

As for the other option, there are no raids currently in game that offer NPC support. So blue being limited doesnt matter. If you feel confident that you can do the fight solo, then que in solo. Otherwise, yeah get a group. The boss uses Missile fairly early, though an unsynched team might win before its used. I always remind people that if you sync the learn rate is 100% for spells that get used(as long as the blue is alive when the enemy dies). For some fights its better to take multiple attempts and fail to learn sometimes, for others its better just to know that you WILL get the spell.

Yeah, when blue was first added the level cap for it was 50 so the Hildy trial(Big Bridge) was the only option. When more duties and spells were included for blue they didnt update the old listings for any spells that were given additional means of access. I might be misremembering, but in general they didnt necessarily list every means for every spell. Sometimes they didnt even list the easiest methods. Each entry they listed was accurate, but that doesnt mean it was complete. Afterall, it doesnt matter which cactaur you learn 1000 needles from, its the same spell regardless. Or which couerl you learn basic instinct from.

ya, i know i did alot of hildy, but missing that one, do you think if someone has it listed, they could just invite me so i get missile spell?

If you did hildi (especially all of ARR) it'd just be in your level 50 trials (not high end). If you really were missing it then getting invited by someone else wouldn't work as you cannot queue into something you do not have unlocked.
